The first five years are critical developmental stages for children. By providing parent education and practical tools, The Treehouse helps build confidence. This puts moms on a successful parenting track and ultimately has a positive impact on their child and generations to come.
With the goal of providing moms and babies with better, more fulfilling lives, educational programs at The Treehouse are taught in a safe, Christian, non-judgmental environment. Our moms are encouraged to share their parenting struggles in hopes of finding ways to become stronger parents and learn from others who are experiencing similar circumstances.
The Treehouse offers educational programs Monday-Thursday from 10:30-11:30 during the school year and Wednesdays from 10:30-11:30 during the summer months. Free child care is provided during class time for children between one and five years old. By attending the one hour class moms are able to earn diapers, formula or Baby Bucks. The Baby Bucks can then be used in the thrift store, like cash, to purchase items for their children. The Treehouse educational programs focus on topics such as:
- Positive Parenting
- Infant and Toddler Care
- Relationship Education
- Life-Skills Development
- Spiritual Growth
