Wichita, Kan. (July 31, 2017) – Laurie Gregory has joined the staff of The Treehouse as Executive Director. She will oversee all operations, programming and development efforts at the organization.
Gregory has more than 16 years of experience with fundraising, sales and communications. She also served as a Kansas State Senator for the 33rd District from 1997 to 2001. Before joining The Treehouse, Gregory was the Director of Development at Exploration Place. She was responsible for all aspects of development and fundraising, including leading their $2.5 million capital campaign for a new aviation exhibit.
Gregory is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals, the Rotary Club of East Wichita, and the Wichita Regional Chamber of Commerce. She attends Central Community Church, and has served on both the Great Bend School Board and the Maize Kansas School Board. She earned her degree in Fine Arts and Graphic Communications from Bethel University, St. Paul, MN.
The Treehouse fills a unique niche in the heart of the Wichita community. For the past 15 years, the faith-based organization has been giving help and hope to mothers and babies in need. By providing basic necessities, parenting guidance and caring support, they offer a brighter future to young women and their children.
